When Jim Kaat speaks, I listen. He said removing Jaret Wright after only 6 innings showed a lack of vision--ignored the particulars of this game while pursuing an inaccurate strategy, ie take Wright out no matter what.
Did the Yankees get rid of all their scouts? Good, because they weren't doing the job anyway. They couldn't hit Horacio Ramirez because they hadn't seen him before, therefore the scouts failed in their job or there aren't any scouts.
