Suzyn Waldman was discussing Halsey's arrival in Oakland, & seems like Bobby Kielty
will have to go to the minors for about 10 days to accommodate roster moves. Everyone
looks forward to Kielty's swift return.

Farid here. Thanks for your note on my site.
I think what Christina meant was that because Latin players come from a very religious background in a very monolithic Catholic region of the world, that they are true believers in that religion and don't want to have to listen to an Evangelical tell them that their religion will won't save them.
I am a deeply religious person, and support all faiths in and out of Christianity (I used to be a Muslim), including Evangelicals, but I have had to ask a few of them to stop attacking my perception of what religion should be. I support Ryan Church's right to his beliefs 100%, but hope he realizes that his "my way or the highway" God doesn't sit well with most people (just look at what he said last year about Jews; I disagree with him 100% but that doesn't make him wrong, just inappropriate).

Ryan made those kinds of remarks. Team
members who work, live & travel together are a captive audience for any kind of weirdo, which is why there
is such a thing as team chemistry &
good & bad managers. Too bad for everyone that he pursued this behavior.
