Gerry Hunsicker Press Conference

XM MLB will be airing the press conference with the Tampa Bay Devil Rays. They'll be naming Gerry Hunsicker to their new front office operation. Not sure yet if he'll be GM.

  • Wow, you listen to that station all day? I listen to it and get infuriated, especially by Rob and Kevin - do they ever disagree with each other? Do they ever give any merit to statistical analysis? Listening to Rob talk smack about the "college educated guys" running QuesTec is horribly uninformed.

    I have to say it is somewhat entertaining, but I get more educational value by listening to O&A on XM 202.

  • Thanks for your comment--the various
    pundits seem to get away with saying
    pretty much what they want. I've heard
    Kevin say he doesn't put that much
    stock in sabermatrics, though from
    what he says, he does look at some
    stats. I haven't heard Rob talk about
    stats at all, but I don't think he's a
    dummie by any means. Their show is
    fairly easy to listen to compared to
    others, so I'm grateful for that.
